Job Summary We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our team.
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.
If you have a “never give up” attitude and are willing to problem-solve until you find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems
Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment
Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments
Communicates with Service Manager codes/issues to document in Shop-Ware for customer to approve or deny service recommendations
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems
Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required
An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/ASE certification is preferred
Strong customer service and communications skills are required
