Overview:

Medix is currently seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician.

Job Responsibilities
• Maintains glassware for the laboratory
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of work areas
• Prepares samples for testing
• Performs basic laboratory testing on raw materials, in-processed goods, and finished products
• Maintains stocks of laboratory supplies and material and maintains appropriate records;
• Follows safety procedures for chemical/biologics handling, as appropriate;
• Follow established SOPs and respond to laboratory staffs requests with minimal supervision

Qualifications / Skills:
• B.S. life sciences degree or related field
• Experience with basic lab techniques and instrumentation
• GxP (Good Lab Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices)
• Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures & laboratory protocol

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
