A wonderful set of Copeland Spode luncheon plates from their "Alden" collection which was produced from 1930 through 1965 and originally designed by artist J. Price whose signature is on each plate. Each of these numbered plates feature a medallion center with a different imagery of plump fruits and flowers that are encircled by an embossed pattern of daisies along with a scalloped edge rim. They are backstamped with the Copeland Spode England logo and individually numbered - offered in this set are plate numbers 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 12.
Each plate measure 9 1/8" in diameter (the daisy embossed rim is 2 1/4" wide around each plate). They are in overall very good vintage condition with no cracks, repairs or crazing noted. There are some very minor areas of loss of glazing or fleabites along some of the outer rims that in no way detract from their beauty. Please see pictures for overall condition.
